Department of Kinesiology Faculty Listing

Dale W. Spence (Ed.D. Louisiana State University) Professor Emeritus Dr. Spence received a B.S. from Rice Institute; a M.S. from North Texas State University, an Ed.D. from Louisiana State University, and has completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Spence joined Rice faculty in 1963, and is presently a Professor of Human Performance and Health Sciences as well as an adjunct Professor of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine and his specialty is human anatomy and sports medicine.
